Francis-Q, was born in Rome but is of Sardinian nationality.
He has been studying guitar since childhood and is passionate about the Campidanese Sardinian language which he always hears spoken at home. He grew up listening to Fabrizio De André, Massimo Bubola, Joan Baez, John Denver and American country. In 2001 he self-produced his first song in Sardinian "A tie Sardinia" which stands out thanks to the radio broadcast DEMO of Radio1 Rai.
In 2004 he moved to Dublin in Ireland where he was fascinated by traditional music and in particular by Van Morrison and the Chieftains.

Back in Italy, the years of study and writing begin. But it will be the meeting with Primiano Di Biase, musician and collaborator of Dire Straits and other well-known songwriters, to give a change to his music.
