A midwestern gal who fell in love with writing and music at an early age. My main goal in life besides being someone to somebody is giving back to the world of music. Music has been there when I didn't want to be a burden to others and I honestly am not sure I would be here if it wasn't for some of the artists I mention below. Music can sometimes speak to you in a way another human cannot, it is truly a universal language. Some influences include Avril Lavinge, Jojo, Ingrid Michealson, Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz, Oh Land, Kimbra, Finneas, Tom Odell, Karmin, Qveen Herby, Coldplay, Ryan Tedder, Ed Sheeran, & Adele. It's strange saying out loud that Taylor Swift has inspired me because I was writing and singing before I even heard Love Story on the radio but I admire her character and catchy tunes and would easily enjoy a conversation with her about the things we have in common. I hope someday she hears one of my sad songs because I know we both love a good one of those.
