Growing up around the rich musical history of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Grant Sterling's proudest possessions were a binder full of burnt CD's and a Fender Stratocaster given to him on his 10th birthday. It seems Sterling was born to be an artist. His roots are planted somewhere in the middle of rowdy, guitar driven classic rock and 90s country hits. Combining his early influences with inspiration from modern “pop-country”, r&b, indie, southern rock, and blues Sterling fell into a uniquely familiar sound. The 25 year old is a singer/songwriter and performer at his core having “a distinct voice with great range and control, (he) sounds like his voice was made for (this music)” (Jerry Wofford, Tulsa World). Grant Sterling's solo artist debut, a single titled "For Life" was released in the summer of 2020 and more music is expected to be announced this year.​ [2020, twotwentytwo music]
