I´m known as Hagal, since a long while back. I have always been driven by introspection and philosophy. I think music is art. Not something you trade with, but something you express with. Therefore I´m not a big fan of most modern music, its to much about the optics and the satisfaction-value. Music should be a way to tell a story, to immerse yourself, to share a feeling, an experience. To do this I´m of the opinion that you first and foremost must do the music for yourself, not for someone else. Its the same with painting, I go by the basics. I try to get as close as possible with nature and there I find what I need to translate it into an artform.
