In 1986, I was invited to join a rock band that was being formed to play cover songs. At that time, I had never played with a band before, so everything felt completely new. The rehearsals, the sound of the amplifiers, and the energy of playing alongside other musicians opened a whole new world for me. What started as a simple invitation turned into the beginning of my musical journey and one of my earliest memories of truly connecting with music.
