HOWARD YERMISH (b. 1971, Philadelphia, PA) is a classically trained composer with a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music (1994) and a Master of Music from the USC Thornton School of Music (1996). His teachers include Samuel Adler, Warren Benson, Donald Crockett, Stephen Hartke, Christopher Rouse, Joseph Schwantner, and Frank Ticheli. He has composed works for various ensembles, from solo instruments to full orchestras to electronic music.
