After nearly 5 years since his last project “Meet Mare” - Marembo returns with H O N E S T; internal conflict, a two sided R&B album with 19 songs. It’s a listening experience that takes you on a journey to get a better understanding of what Marembo’s love life has been ever since he came to the music scene, something he doesn’t open much about in his music, he touches on toxic behaviors, sex life, the importance of family and his need to give up the fun life to be able to have a family. It is the first time he decided to remove the filters, make the kind of music he loves with transparency. He believes this is something the Burundian music industry needs and it was a therapeutic experience for him. more
