"Jackson with a Q" - If his name is any indication, JACKSQN has always lived his truth his way. A recent Signature Songwriter Alumni and current Artist Sanctuary member, JACKSQN is an independent artist starting his career right under the tutelage and A&R Direction of renowned Cari Cole. His debut EP “Daddy Issues” is expected to hit the stands hot off the presses by late 2023. With jubilant, gospel-infused vocal stylings, JACKSQN creates searing soul pop using poetic, clever off-the-wall lyricism that is less black-and-white the more they’re read. Think the soul of Labrinth + story telling of Frank Ocean + timbre of John Legend and lyrics of Sia, but triumphantly louder juxtaposed with darker themes of death, rejection, and life as a colored boy (black + gay).
