Jim first faced the footlights at the age of five as a member of Rhythm-Lite Productions. He spent thirteen years touring major cities on the East Coast, as well as performing regionally. This exposure to musical entertainment resulted in an early interest in songwriting as he was able to write & perform original songs on a frequent basis.
Jim’s professional songwriting career began when he relocated to Boston to major in composition at the Berklee College of Music, (where, as a freshman, he wrote two huge Philippine hits, the Platinum selling, “Without You” by Joey Albert and the Gold selling, “Shadow of Time” by Raymond Lauchengco); Jim also worked with seasoned professionals such as Sue Richards (Tammy Wynette’s backup singer) who recorded a beautiful rendition of his country song, “My Love’s Gone”.
When a member of the community went on a waiting list for a donor heart, Jim responded by becoming actively involved; composing, arranging & producing the song, “People Helping Peo
