JERMAL is a R&B/Soul artist hailing from Toronto’s east end. Growing up in a Jamaican household, music was a constant factor in his life, having inspiration come from artists in gospel, reggae, dancehall, R&B, Hip-Hop, funk, country and pretty much anything with a beat and vocals on top of it. JERMAL would begin singing and writing his own songs at the age of 9; and due to having early exposure to a variety of music allowed for him to cultivate an ability where he was better able to capture the soul and deeper meaning within music. Over the years he would have the opportunity to open for other established artists (and Toronto natives) like 2 time Grammy award winner Melanie Fiona, Juno Award winner (for Best R&B/Soul Recording) Carlos Morgan, Juno Nominated R&B singers Ray Robinson and Kim Davis just to name a few. In December of 2021. JERMAL's EP entitled “Rhythm & Hues” (Vol.1) delivers a smooth R&B feel nostalgic to the 90's while still putting his own mix on it.
