Jaime Altair is an electronic artist, songwriter, and producer from Orlando, Florida, who’s signature is deep storytelling combined with EDM rhythms. His sound is inspired by the timeless pulse of disco and house fusing with the atmosphere and depth of cinematic pop. He blends lush synths with introspective piano chords, all layered on top of driving, four on the floor beats and deep basslines. The result is a duality of light and dark- music that moves between introspection and euphoria, balancing moody themes with flashes of hope. Formerly known as Jay Antares, Altair’s creative journey started with writing lyrics and crafting songs that encompassed emotional clarity. Now studying the deeper workings of music production at Valencia college, he’s exploring how to make the lush and intense soundscapes of his mind become a reality. With sound defined by energy and narrative, he builds music layered with rhythm and harmony in ways that make even the darkest themes feel more human
