A powerful vocalist who is well known for firing up a crowd, Jake Kokins comes to you with A large catalogue of original music, Kokins has performed his original songs in front of hundreds at some of the largest venues in the Hunter Valley with his unique style of indie, alternative rock, folk & blues. Jake was born in Newcastle & started singing at a young age, by 14 years old Jake was writing his own originals, and by 16 Jake was asked to join the popular Newcastle Progressive Rock band Immaculate Misconception as Lead Vocalist and this is where Kokins Drive started when it comes to writing original music. He has also been frontman for Bands such as Novacastrian, Curtains Closed & is currently playing with the band The Intrapersonals. Kokins released a 4 song EP in February 2024 and is currently working on a full-length album with his long-time collaborator Josh Forrest.
