'Beside you' talks about having faith in a higher power that always guides and protects us. It was written and mastered over 1 week straight, at the height of the pandemic wave. Each one of us has lost somebody we know or love. We feek helpless, anxious and scared, and wonder when will all this end. I wrote this song to inspire listeners to draw strength from that inner force that resides within each of us. Let us not lose hope, and have faith in this spiritual power so that we can overcome the present crisis. more

Qaid, meaning imprisoned, is a song that talks about suffering from mental illness. The protagonist is narrating how he feels trapped within his mind. He blames God or destiny for everything, wondering when it will all end. Towards the bridge he becomes self-reflective and starts to gain strength. In the ensuing fast-paced section, he talks about how he will break the chains of misery binding him, by relying on his will-power. And in the outro, he declares that he will emerge victorious.more

Behaal is the first release from my upcoming EP "Love.Undone". It's an indie rock song. The word 'Behaal' means 'feeling miserable'. The protagonist is a boy in relationship with a girl, where the latter often has to be away for extended periods of time due to studies or work. But this one time, when she leaves, she doesn't return. Neither does she give any explanation. The guy is left feeling flustered. He reminisces the good times spent with her. He wants to write to her, pouring out his feelings of frustration. But then he slowly compromises, thinking there must be a reason why she left and did not come back. Maybe she feels helpless too. So, in a sense, it's not really about heartbreak, but an uncertain situation where he doesn't know why it happened and what to do about it. more
