Kilmarnock 1992 was formed in Paisley in 2017, by a Scotsman who once failed a school band entrance test because he could not tell the difference between a high note and a low note. Kilmarnock 1992 is in full-time employment and makes his orchestral synthesizer music on his days off. It is his hobby and his obsession. Although instrumental, each song tells a story, and ideas come from the abyss of our recent past...disasters, mysterious events, unexplained occurrences. Inspiration also comes from our immediate present...societal agitation, fear of life, and the subconscious love of death which embraces us all. It may satisfy to learn Kilmarnock 1992 grew-up in Kilmarnock and he well recalls the year 1992. That was the year he realised hopes could be short-circuited by the machine of adulthood. He is also a failed poet and unpublished novelist, has never seen a UFO, and has read every Philip K Dick novel several times.
