Louis Sam Green: singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist ... and brimming with fresh talent, has been making waves gigging around Bondi and beyond for years. Now he is launching a new phase with the release of his debut single I Lost My Shirt. Louis began his musical journey at age 8, when Jon Schofield (Paul Kelly and The Messengers/ Coloured Girls) began to teach him piano. Showing such promise, at 10 he was given an electric guitar for his birthday. He never looked back: runner up one year, then winning his school idol competition the next with his unique, stylised take on pop classics of the day. As well as honing a charismatic and captivating live performance style, Louis’ smooth, deft and passionate vocal delivery has put him in demand for studio sessions. Gigging solo or with his band, energising the crowd, Louis seems effortlessly in command. Louis' influences include John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Angus and Julia Stone, and Jon Butler but he draws form a multitude of genres.
