MADQUEEN and Juliet Loweryworked together in the studio to recreate the popular 80's hit "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurhythmics. Juliet used two analog synthesizers, a Moog Grandmother and Moog DFAM, to make the bass and solo lines authentic to the original recording. She creatively sampled sounds, including the high-pitch drum sound in the post-chorus, by recording a pen hitting a door handle using her iPhone. It's amazing what you can sample and manipulate the sound of in a recording software. Vocals were recorded by MADQUEEN, along with mixing and mastering the single.
