Man Tau, who looks back on an adventurous life full of setbacks and an eventful childhood, listened to his heart and made the decision to put his suffering, emotions and feelings to music through his unusual, sometimes quirky songs and thus show that there is always a light at the horizon. One of Man Tau's characteristics is a certain kind of melancholic happiness, expressed through his remarkable voice. In a world where everything seems to be striving for perfection, he wants to bring back the human element into music, without sounding old-fashioned. Musically his sound very much derives from the 60s and 70s, but modern influences also can’t be denied. That's what makes his sound vintage, yet modern.
