Mapped By A Forest are a 2-piece Scottish Alternative/Indie Rock band from Edinburgh , Scotland. The band formed in 2023 by Sam Morris and Brian Philp. The two met in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh. In different music projects they bonded over their love of The Twlight Sad, Frightened Rabbit and The Cure.
Their unique brand of entertainment fuses Hard-hitting lyrics, lovely melodic feel with melancholic ambience.
They released their debut single “Bridges” on June 25th 2023. It gained the attention of Jim Gellatly (Amazing Radio) & BBC introducing with airplay around the UK & USA.
