Dutch-born Marianna Greenham grew up with music. In Australia she taught music for 10 years. First album SUNNY DAY DREAMS for sale in ABC-Shops, highly recommended by the Australian Society of Music Education.
ABC Records invited her to work in Sydney. Urgent family matters were a higher priority than moving East. During the Balkan war, Marianna, aware of the plight of one particular refugee, wrote her story into a 4-part ballad. ERNADA was recorded with Will Upson, WASO and rhythm section for the International Red Cross Bosnia Appeal.
Marianna and Kim helped their eldest daughter through illness and raised their grandson Jayden. Now 70, Marianna is back in the recording studio with new producer Michael Crannage and a team of great musicians. New titles: CATCH YOU, NO TICKET JOURNEY, I COULDN’T SLEEP LAST NIGHT, KARRI, THE SOFTEST POWER, LOVING WITHOUT LIMIT, DANG DANG, BEST PLACE TO BE, SOUTH WEST SHANTY.
