Frank Bongiovanni is an American singer-songwriter and producer working in modern, progressive metal with a strong focus on emotional expression. After years of playing with different acts across multiple genres and countries, he has spent the past decade refining his sound as a solo artist, shaping music that reflects both technical growth and personal honesty. “Me Being Frank” reflects both his name and his intent: to be honest, sincere, and unfiltered—even when the truth is uncomfortable. In a world driven by comparison and the pursuit of perfection, this project embraces something different: the idea that “perfect” often gets in the way of “good enough.” These songs are not polished to perfection. They are not built around virtuosity. I wrote and produced them to the best to my ability They are human. They explore themes of life, love, loss, depression, sobriety, and the full range of human emotion. They are written as a form of coping, reflection, and release.
