Dawid 'Morfeusz' Halszka has been rapping since 2022. As he recalls, he started purely by accident, creating a track over a free beat from YouTube. It turned out to be something that people liked, so he simply had to keep creating.
Within the next month, he created the EP "Dzienniczek Janka" – a collection of four tracks about the Auschwitz Birkenau camps. Controversy, suffering, and emotions draw listeners' attention to the camp in Oświęcim, from which the titular Janek, after years, emerges and tries to live, drawing strength from music.
In 2024, he won the national WyRAPuj Siebie contest. It gave him the motivation to start taking his music seriously. Shortly after, "Dzienniczek Janka" was released in physical form.
Morfeusz is not slowing down and announces the release of a new album "Kraina Snów" on November 15, 2025.
