My City Skyline is a solo project started by Mark Ledesma. It's a pop/punk and emo sound. With the raw, loud sound, and lyric writing; MCS is inspired by influences like Mayday Parade, Fall Out Boy, and Anberlin. Having previously been in and launching multiple projects and bands like, At The Very Least, He Says She Says, Planet Fall, High Score, and Always & Never; Mark certainly does have a longevity in live music performance and song writing. He is from Austin, Texas. The live music capital of the world! That's where he grew up and caught shows on the famous 6th Street. He then spent 6 years in North Carolina, that is where the East Coast influence came from. While live music and bands were greatly a part of his make up, it was time to go at it alone and create music without any strings attached. Music has always been a part of his life; as a hobby and passion, nothing more or nothing less. Thank you for listening and if you haven't yet, please do!
