My name is Nestor Flores born and raised in El Monte California I am 30 years old and living my dream. Growing up I was always energetic loved the outdoors specifically wilderness where I got the nickname Sasquatch. All that fun ended when I started feeling like the black sheep of the family and my depression started. Life was just not for me back then so I looked for ways to end it, I’ve always believed in god just didn’t know if he answers prayers so I never prayed. Fast forward to 18 found what I thought the love of my life, dated for 10 years married for 3 separated for 4. I fell into depression all over again just this time I wrote about it. Stories turned to poetry to songs I picked up the guitar and played away. I grew up as a drummer but found that my love for songwriting and guitar was stronger than anything. I would love to reach the hurt, the weak and the depressed people in the world. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

These cold nights are closing in on me
I can't sleep
and I'm losing everything
money is gone and no one fucks with me
I did try
but it's taking a toll on me

In the dark of my mind, I'm lost and I can't find
The light that once shined bright, now just a distant design
Heavy chains weigh me down, like a shipwreck in the sea
I'm drowning in my thoughts, unable to break free
Voices whisper in my ear, "You're not enough, you'll never be"
A never-ending storm, that's how my heart feels, you see
I put on a brave face, but inside I'm falling apart
Trying to find a start
But still, I hold on to hope, a glimmer in the night
A chance that things will change, and the darkness will take flight
And though it's hard to see, I know I'm not alone
