Brimstone is a song that I wrote, alone in my bedroom at my mothers house after having to move out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and back home after a long year and a half battle with depression, anxiety, and abusive relationship... and losing everything I built and made for myself. It is a breakup song, going back to my roots of living in the country, about a boy I loved who almost took my light, my life, away from me. Unlike other breakup songs however, it's from the perspective of me or you, the listener, letting an abusive partner go, and riding off on home into the bittersweet sunset.
