In 2010, PrettyLitch was the primary songwriter and the lead vocalist in a London based Deathcore band. Privately he admired emo and scene bands like Falling in Reverse, Taking Back Sunday, and A Day to Remember. After moving to Tokyo, discovering solo artists like Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and smrtdeath he was inspired to learn music production for himself, make demos, and write music for his own project to marry 808's lo-fi gloomy melodies with raw post-hardcore and emo-rock guitars riffs. The result feels like music teens in the Bladerunner universe would listen to in gritty cyberpunk basement clubs.
