Rai Reid is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, UK. Rai’s love of singing and storytelling has always been a part of her soul since childhood. She had a traumatic upbringing and lived a full life trying to run away from herself due to undiagnosed CPTSD before believing in her passions and her creative abilities. Former lead singer and songwriter of Barcelona based duo Raquel & The Professor, Rai learned to play guitar during lockdown and finally stepped out solo in September 2021. Rai’s soulful music vocalises truth of the trials and tribulations she has endured . She hopes to be an inspiration to women everywhere and of any age, as well as those that have been through trauma and abuse and those who love too deeply, that following your soul’s purpose is possible and it is never too late.
