RawrofCymru

Holywell

Rawr of Cymru is a Welsh alternative‑metal storyteller blending myth, history, and raw emotion into cinematic soundscapes. Rooted in the legends and battles of Cymru, the project fuses heavy riffs, folk‑inspired melodies, and the nostalgic “rawr” spirit of the 00s alt scene into something uniquely personal and fiercely original. What began as a Welsh history concept quickly evolved into a wider creative universe — a place where metal, emo, folk, and experimental genres collide. Every track is built to feel like a chapter in a saga: atmospheric, emotional, and unapologetically alternative. Rawr of Cymru stands at the crossroads of heritage and subculture — the roar of a dragon with the heart of an outsider.
