RickyMakesBeats, commonly known as Ricky/Riko, is a beat maker and music producer originally from Elizabeth, NJ. He started making music with his friends and family on the East Coast (Izzy, Shay, & Gordo). He started making beats and producing songs at an early age and has since developed a passion for sonic alchemy. Ricky is passionate about making music that inspires people to connect with their natural surroundings and celebrate life. From freestyling and having cyphers, RickyMakesbeats has moved to Portland, OR where he has successfully opened his lawn care business (www.StayLowLawnCare.com), Clothing and Cannabis brand (www.LBGenes.com), and now onto his Music Kingdom. Ricky's mother is from Puerto Rico all while, his father is from Cuba. He served in the United States Army and put his music career on hold during his military term. He has recently mentioned “I am on my mission, and the only people I owe anything to are GOD, My Kids, And My Ancestors!”
