Royal Bing is a post-punk, emo, and alternative band from Puerto Rico, crafting emotionally driven music rooted in vulnerability, catharsis, and lived experience. Influenced by bands like AFI, Bayside, Circa Survive, Glassjaw, Lower Definition, Blink-182, and Ozzy Osbourne, their sound balances urgency and melody with moments of tension and release. Formed by lifelong friends DilianMode and Wil—best friends since kindergarten and musicians for over two decades—Royal Bing represents a long-delayed but deeply intentional creative chapter. Now in their 30s, the band channels years of growth, loss, reflection, and resilience into songs about perseverance, breaking destructive patterns, reclaiming joy, questioning authority, and expanding consciousness. This is music made from scars, not trends—honest, emotional, and unfiltered.
