Rudy is an Artist and Captivating Singer Songwriter. Using ethereal voice and synth to create dreamlike soundscapes for people to relax to. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Rudy (Born Ruth Derrick) grew up in a small amish town with her parents that met in art school and her two siblings. One thing her parents always encouraged was her creative side and innovative drive. She recalls many moments in her childhood where she was picked out specifically for her artistic and musical abilities for school and community events. She excelled in school, but she was always exceptional in any art field. She moved to Palmdale, California as a young girl before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where she was training vocally, and finally back to Agoura Hills, California. She knows how to play three instruments. She studied illustration at The New School, Parsons for a short time before returning back to Los Angeles for work.
