Born and raised in San Francisco, but calling Montgomery AL home, Adam Shephard has spent his life tinkering with musical instruments, making sounds rather than creating music. That changed as his interests shifted to the world of modular synthesizers. His musical world burst open as he discovered unlimited sound possibilities.
Released in the summer of 2020, his first album “Plague Hymns” was a concept album of sorts, addressing the stresses of life under quarantine via a series of moody instrumental pieces. His follow up, “See?” came just two months later and was an effort to have no unifying concept. Instead, he focused on shorter tighter pieces with their own individual moods.
He is currently at work on his third release, “Live from The O Horizon”.
