Based in Seoul, South Korea, DJ and producer SIMON KAI’s musical roots trace back to his early childhood. Growing up under the influence of his father, who was a producer and multi-instrumentalist, SIMON KAI naturally absorbed a diverse range of genres and fell deeply in love with the limitless possibilities of electronic music at a young age. He took his first steps into DJing with the iconic Technics SL-1200MK2 turntables, and during his school years, he began constructing his own unique beat architecture by self-teaching Cakewalk and Nuendo. Currently, SIMON KAI is heavily focused on producing Latin / Afro House tracks that balance deep rhythms with raw, primitive energy. Through continuous genre-bending experimentation, he is steadily carving out a definitive, signature soundscape that is uniquely his own.
