Scripted Chaos is the band & solo name of Garrett J Reed since February 2004. He started out playing solo as a kid and recorded a solo album. Then he started a band with some friends. The members of his band changed off and on over time, but Scripted Chaos has always remained Garrett’s musical project. He writes all of his own songs, sings, and plays guitar. He refers to his style as “Hybrid” because he doesn’t want to be stifled by any single genre of music. He coined the artist name “Scripted Chaos” after watching the video “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows” by Brand New and tried to describe the song’s vibe. He couldn’t think of the word “choreographed” so he described it as “scripted” chaos and decided that this would be his band/artist name.
