Sol Child has nostalgia at her very core, wanting to recreate that early 2000's brit pop feel, she creates songs that wouldn't feel out of place in 2004 and don't feel out of place in 2023 and beyond. Finding other people in the church who loved music as much as she did, led to her being shown a project by Shakka that would change her relationship with music forever. Shakka's "Lost Boys EP" can almost single-handedly take credit for Sol Child as an artist, this was one of the first albums that she listened to back to back that she still goes back to even today. Even after leaving the church Sol Child still takes one thing on with her 'words hold power'.
