Richard Finn is a Tennessee-based songwriter and the creator behind Southern Foundry, an independent country and Americana music project built around real stories, honest lyrics, and meaningful music. Drawing inspiration from life, family, faith, relationships, and the places and people that shape us, Richard writes songs designed to say something worth hearing and leave something worth remembering. Southern Foundry blends traditional songwriting with modern production tools, including AI-assisted vocals and instrumentation, to bring those stories to life. Based in East Tennessee, Richard continues to write and release original music that reflects the heart of country and Americana storytelling while exploring new ways technology can support the creative process.
