Symphress

Symphress was founded in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2015, initially as an acoustic-ambient music project. Later on, the members at that time decided to change directions dramatically, leaning towards symphonic and gothic metal, with elements of progressive music. Gradually, the sound evolved more and more towards progressive rock and metal, while releases and live performances increased steadily. Starting 2018, the band started to appear in a number of Romanian festivals, such as Bucovina Rock Castle and Celtic Transilvania Fest. As the pandemic hit and rehearsals became more and more limited due to restrictions, the band decided to focus more on recording new music, due to be released.
