Daniel Harvey, a 19-year-old saxophonist, is enthusiastic about music,
production, and entertainment. His fondness for music began at the age of
nine with the piano, but his fascination with the saxophone stemmed from
his attendance at the Waterford Music and Cultural Society (WMCS)
Summer Camp, when he decided he desired to learn the instrument after
admiring some of his friends who played the saxophone.
In 2019, at the Barbados Jazz Excursion, Harvey was selected to shared the
stage alongside the Nicholas Brancker Band and Elan Trotman. He has
subsequently performed with some of Barbados' greatest artists such as 2
Mile Hill, Roger Gittens, John Roett, Mikey Mercer, and many more.
Harvey graduated from Harrison college to peruse music at the Barbados
Community College, and holds an associate's degree in music and is
presently pursuing a bachelor's degree in music at the University of the
West Indies. In October of 2022, Harvey became the first winner of the
Head Start M
