TheHarp

Rome - Italy

The Harp is an Italian band from Rome. Active in the 1980s and 1990s, they reunited in 2022. The group is very close-knit, both musically and personally, founded on a close friendship. The Harp isn't just the name of a band that evokes the allure of an ancient instrument. It's the epitome of an ever-evolving journey, encapsulated in its initials: Harmonic And Rhytmic Perspectives. The project aims to explore the intersections between the energy of rock, the structures of progressive, and the sensibility of pop. The songs, some in Italian and others in English, unfold in an ever-changing atmosphere, where immediate melodies and refined harmonies blend with dynamic rhythmic textures and instrumental parts that are never overbearing. The diverse skills, sensibilities, and backgrounds of the members have fostered the rebirth and development of the original project. "Basically, we make music out of passion and to connect with people."
