TheLostBoy

London, UK

The Lost Boy is Scottish musician Dave Wright. Originally finding his musical feet in Edinburgh where he formed several covers bands and an original band, Phoenix Q, as an outlet for his own song writing. The style then was funky pop rock and those inspirations are still clear with the sounds of The Lost Boy. Inspired by the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Daft Punk, Breakbot, Jamiroquai and Todd Terje to name just a few. The Lost Boy is creating fun, funky electro music to warm your soul. The vision for The Lost Boy was clear, sit down and write a minimum of 10 songs in one week to put on a 5 track EP. That EP has since turned into an album, an album he is very proud of – Lost for Words. Out for release on the 21st Jan 2021, The Lost Boy is confident that the driving disco influenced bass lines and catchy riff of lead single ‘Erudite’ will have you hit the repeat button.
