If Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones had a love child, they may be called the Mac Stones. We call ourselves The Stifftones. Midwest meets Bakersfield country, Inland Empire inspired Punk, East Coast cheese, and a whole lot of love all wrapped in magic. We are music. A rock n roll devival. The Stifftones are husband and wife duo, Shaun

These Times
First birthed in 2016, now in 2024 These Times is a full fledged rock and roll gypsy's warning. We bought the ticket, here's the soundtrack for the ride. Jonathan Segel of Camper Van Beethoven on violin conjures the essence of Nero while Rome is burning. Victor Krummenacher, also of CVB delivers thick and ominous Clash-esque bass riffs, balancing the surgical precision drums by Kyle Mayer of September Mourning. Standing on the shoulders of giants The Stifftones deliver their most compelling offering to date. There are horns, helicopters, sirens, and more. Are you feeling frightened yet? Good. Slap on a pair of headphones and take it all in. (album art by Rachel Stief)more
