Truth Lueciano MARCELL DESHAUN SMITH The native San Diego California rapper TRUTH LUECIANO, born Marcell Deshaun Gregory Smith, began his pre-rap career at the early age of 4 years old; reciting the lyrics to any song in heavy rotation. At the age of seven his family began to notice that he was gifted, musically inclined and began encouraging him to make music. At ten years old, he developed his own understanding of the differences between a rapper, a lyricist and a musical artist. Graduating with Honors in July 2009, with a new personal perspective on life and feeling a different vibe for his music; a newly developed rough street edge caused Young Prodigy to be released from Covenant Records. Determined to represent Las Vegas to the fullest; inspired by the city’s motto… “the city that never sleeps” and it’s Mafioso history; they established an entertainment group called, "Tha D.O.N.S. (Doing Overtime No Sleeping).” Independent and still thriving Truth Lueciano is still making music.
