Born and raised in Germany, I was exposed to both German melody-driven "Lieder" and the sounds from Britain and the US. I pined to be a drummer for as long as I can remember, and although I couldn't get my parents to support my musical interests, I was able to save for a guitar in my teens. I've played on and off over the years in many different bands and in many different styles. But, I'm very late to the party as far as writing music. Only recently am I finally beginning to conquer (or ignore) insecurities about writing and I hope to get more creative and more musical as time goes on.
