VASANGLIN

LAS VEGAS

Vas Anglin is a New Jersey native born in 1988 curating his sound from the mixtape era when hip hop stood for two turntables and a mic. This sample-based music producer and audio/video engineer turns everyday moments into memory-soaked sound. A passing conversation, the perfect loop over cliché drums, the hiss of an old TV left on too long—nothing is too small to become a texture, a rhythm, a feeling. Rooted in nostalgia yet seldom stuck there, Vas stitches fragments of the past into new forms, blending dusty overtones with gritty engineering and a quiet obsession for detail. Behind the boards and opposite the lens, Vas chases one thing: the aha moment. Capturing life as it happens, then replaying it back with a little more warmth, a little more soul—like a memory you’re not sure is yours, but somehow feels like home.
