Vertebrac is a force in progressive metal and djent based in Lima, Peru. After bursting onto the scene with their debut album, Nefelibata (2015), the band solidified a sound that balances technical aggression with immersive atmospheres.
Influenced by global icons such as Meshuggah, Architects, Sleep Token, and Deftones, Vertebrac has evolved into a cutting-edge alternative metal offering. After a period of maturation, the band resumed rehearsals in August 2025 to bring to life their most ambitious project to date: Omni (2026). This new album marks a definitive return to their more technical and genre-driven roots, redefining the sound of Peruvian djent for the current scene.
