I posted two songs today for my new project. This is Pt. 2: The day I said goodbye Both of the songs work together to create a story of being in a co-dependent relationship. While Pt. 1 is written out of a sight of "I can't loose them" and "I'm happy because of them", Pt. 2 is more about self love and finding your worth. Choosing to stand above the things you told yourself because you realised that it never really was about the other person but more what you made them out to be. How much you love another person isn't defined by who they are or what they (can) do. The love you have for that person is a part of yourself. So if you loose that other person, it doesn't need to be a loss, if you are able to redirect the love you were willing to give to them, towards yourself. You deserve it.
