“Up-and-coming original Alt-grunge duo, Brown Apples, emerged from Providence, RI locals: guitarist & songwriter, Daniel Brown, and drummer Mikey Apples. Their music has an upbeat, yet gritty sound seasoned with emotive vocals and driving percussion. They are known for their intensity and engaging live showmanship, despite having only two members. Recently, Brown Apples has increased their live performances around the Northeast US and completed a four-state tour in March 2024 with more tours to come. The band is working towards obtaining more performance opportunities, such as more notable opener spots and festivals. Brown Apples has a strict work ethic regarding their musical endeavors, and they are in process of putting out a full-length record soon, with the newest single “6/10” released on February 26th, 2024.”
