I am Youcef Riad, born on 1991 and hail originally from the heart of Moroccan capital, Rabat. My initial career plan is to become a Finance and Insurance Specialist; however the call for me to engage in a musical career was stronger. Hence I decided to pursue this long-time passion of mine. Always having a soft spot for all types of music, ever since I was little anything that has a sound or tune caught my attention and takes me to a place of comfort, solace and absolute joy. I experience harmony, nostalgia, and nirvana as I enjoy listening to various musical instruments that can generate limitless number of tones and melodies. I always consider myself lucky and truly privileged to be from Morocco, as the music from my country represents a melting pot of cultures. Morocco’s strategic location between Europe and Africa paved the way for an ideal musical fusion of Spanish (Andalucian), Mediterranean, Sub-Saharan, Middle Eastern and Amazigh cultural influences.
