Alex M, stage name of Alessandro Merlo, is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in 2001. He only starts writing songs at the age of 16, while living in Norway, strongly influenced by artists like Lana Del Rey and The Beatles. Later on, he starts being influenced by Taylor Swift, Sufjan Stevens and folk and country music in general. His debut single November was one of the first songs he’s ever written, but was only out in late 2020. He’s currently working on his first album.
