Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Andelana is a group of three friends that have been making music together for over 15 years. Kris "The K-Man" Humlick (vocals & lyrics), Michael "Salamowich" Malanowich (guitars & bass), and Micheal "Mikey Dubbz" Whelan (drums & vocals) each bring their own musical interests and passions into Alderana. Having originally written music together as a duo under the band names Paradigm and Cult Apologist, Michael and Mikey decided to recruit their longtime friend Kris for a new melodic metal project in 2021, with the goal of releasing an EP and potentially a full-length album in the year to come.
