Surficana music from Dick Dale’s surf guitar protégé, Vincent Daverino, also known as “Beachfront Vinny”, from Long Island, NY where he grew up as the son of renown surf guitar instrumentalist Vincent Daverino Sr. After a very short stint playing surf guitar as a hired gun for the The Beach Boys touring band, Daverino was fired after falling on Al Jardine during a live taping. After his termination, Daverino began producing surficana records under the moniker of “Beachfront Vinny”. The trop rock blend of high harmonies, surf guitar, trop rock grooves, and east coast rhymes, coupled with his commitment to never take anything seriously, has gotten Beachfront Vinny virtually banned from every genre listed here.
